The island of Galveston is located on the Gulf of Mexico in the northern section of the state of Texas. Traditional vacation rentals include antiques inside hotels and summer condos rentals for groups. A tourist can find stone work in many areas, but the new scene is a busy one with cars bustling down the packed beach avenue drive. "AIN'T THAT TOUGH ENOUGH" to find streets so near the beach.
A good tip is that Texas has a much more lax community when it comes to spring break. Most other states are very strict, but staying together in groups is suggested. I n Texas most people do not have to worry about that anyway because they are so far away from beach life. LIFE IS A BEACH and once you get there be sure to drive all over it.
Fishing is great along the islands surround Galveston perfect for deep inlet finds of flounder and other sub tropical fish.
