The teams keep trading all of their players. I have never heard of a sports team that wins the major leagues and then trades every single player the very next season. And in basketball it is even worst in Florida. Basketball in Miami is getting ridiculous with far too many substitutes. It is like a new player comes in every five minutes or so. My beef is that the old teams had chemistry. The same with baseball too!
For example; in basketball you need a point guard and good rebounding forward that can also score. In baseball you need a good short stop that can steal bases and someone batting seventh that can hold a high batting average. In Florida you can throw all of that away. It is the same old story that the teams keep changing logos and mascots with newest names in the sport. Meanwhile; the real pro teams seem to be adding key players in key positions. While the Miami teams have won in the past, the look is entirely different than what it used to be. The other day I asked a coworker," Why aren't there as many fast break dunks as there used to be." He said," Have you seen the heat lately?" I agreed even though the basketball league completely changed the rule about playing man to man. Now with the zone breakaways and slams dunks are a lot less frequent. The plays that the teams run are now a pick and roll with an extra wing pass. They cannot even get the ball to the inside guy without them having to scramble around three zone defenders. And in baseball it is a shame to trade key players right before the playoffs or trade the whole team away after winning a title. In places like New York they would have fired and bashed the coaches in the headlines for years for doing something like that.
